For young athletes wanting to enhance athletic performance and robustness for the demands of their chosen sport.

Being stronger, faster, and fitter improves performance, reduces injury risk, and builds key physical skills that will benefit long-term development. Each week, we will cover various areas within strength and conditioning, including sprint technique, agility, plyometrics, and lifting.

There are a limited number of spaces on this programme as we want to maintain small group sizes in order to deliver the best possible coaching.

Jonny Nicholson

Strength and Conditioning Coach

BSc (Hons) Sport & Exercise Science

Jonny holds a first class degree in (BSc) Sport and Exercise Science from the University of Bath. 

Having had an exceptional year on our graduate internship programme we were delighted to offer him a permanent position in August 2021. He currently leads our physiological testing, development of young athletes, and works as a performance coach offering 1-1 training, and coaching on our Elevate and Rehab Programmes. 

Will Hayler

Performance Coach

BSc (Sport & Exercise Science), MSc (Sport Physiology)

Will holds a BSc in Sport & Exercise Science and an MSc in Sport Physiology from the University of Brighton. He is currently in the process of becoming a BASES accredited sport scientist.

He has good experience working in professional football and also had a very successful post graduate internship year at GoPerform. Most recently he worked as  academy sport scientist for Reading FC Academy working where he was responsible for the U9-16s age groups. Will’s main interests are the long-term athletic development of youth athletes, and he works with many youth athletes across different sports and ages. Alongside this he works as a performance coach offering 1-2-1 training and coaching on our Elevate and Rehabilitation Programmes.
