Shockwave therapy, also known as Extracorporeal Shock Wave Therapy (ESWT), is a clinically proven and highly effective treatment for chronic soft tissue musculoskeletal conditions such as achilles tendinopathy, plantar fasciopathy, tennis elbow and rotator cuff injury.

Treatment is usually carried out at weekly intervals and will typically involve 3-5 treatments carried out at 7-10 day intervals alongside a tailored rehabilitation programme.
